Heart Shaped No-Sew Pillow

This no-sew pillow was so fun and simple to create. Trow it on your couch, bed or bench to add a touch of love in any space. The supply list is short and the creative possibilities are endless.

You're going to need some fleece. This is where you can have some fun with your pillow. I chose to use two different colors for mine but you can do a solid color design or get a patterned print if you'd like.

Supplies you'll need:

- 2 pieces of fleece. The size can vary depending on the size of the pillow you are looking to make. Mine is about 18 inches wide.
- A pair of good scissors
- Stuffing. Now this is where you can get savvy. If you have an old pillow laying around go ahead a rip that sucker open and use that filling. Or just go buy a cheap Walmart or Dollar General pillow. It is so much cheaper than buying a bag of fill.
-As for the template, you can print one out using a Cricut or Silhouette machine or if you have a steady hand draw one using a poster board or piece of cardboard. You're going to need 2 hearts, one just a few inches smaller than the bigger one, enough to tie.
- A piece of chalk or pen to draw your outline on the fleece.

Place the bigger template on the pieces of fleece and draw the outline on.
Repeat with the smaller one. See the picture below

Cut out both of your bigger hearts, your front and back pieces.

Next you'll want to cut strips along the outside stopping where your outline for the smaller heart is. These are the pieces you are going to tie. See the picture below.

After you have it cut up all the way around the heart you can begin tying them. Make sure you double tie them so they don't come undone.

You'll also want to leave a space big enough to fit your hand in to fill/stuff your pillow.

Stuff your pillow enough to make it firm but be careful not to over stuff or it will end up looking like a ball. I found this out the hard way.

Once your happy with the amount of filling go ahead a tie the rest of it up and your done!

Super simple and easy. No sewing involved. It's a great project for kids.

You can make a few and toss them on your couch. You could even take it a step further and iron on a saying making cute conversation hearts! I just might have to do this next!
